Emergency medicine, pediatrics residents join UMMC faculty

Medical Center leadership is proud to announce the following additions to its faculty and leadership staff.

Stephanie DePaepe, D.O.

Dr. Stephanie DePaepe, recently an emergency medicine resident at UMMC, has joined the Medical Center faculty as an assistant professor of emergency medicine.

After receiving her B.S. in biology from the University of Texas at Tyler in 2010, DePaepe earned her M.S.M.S. in 2011 at the University of North Texas Health Science Center and her D.O. in 2015 at the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine. She began her emergency medicine residency at UMMC in 2015.

She is an active member of the American College of Emergency Physicians, the Emergency Medicine Residents’ Association and the American Association of Osteopathic Women Physicians.

 

Carolyn K. Glendye, M.D.

Dr. Carolyn K. Glendye, recently a pediatrics resident at UMMC, has joined the Medical Center faculty as an assistant professor of pediatrics and chief resident of pediatrics.

After receiving her B.S. in biomedical sciences summa cum laude from Auburn University in 2010, Glendye earned her M.D. at the Mercer University School of Medicine, Savannah, Georgia, in 2015. She had pediatrics residency training at UMMC from 2015-18.

A member of the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society and Phi Beta Kappa, Glendye was student body president for the Mercer University School of Medicine and has served on several medical student committees. She has given five scientific poster presentations and one oral presentation and has coauthored a research paper. She has served as a volunteer for numerous community service activities in Mississippi, Alabama and Georgia.
